Hello everyone! Stephanie Dagan with you to share my favorite products from the Heyday line. In fact, it's not one product, but two. I can't choose between the 6x6 Paper Pad and the Wood Veneer My Type!

I love creating mini albums and I find it much easier to work with the smaller paper pad for such projects. The patterns on the paper pad are smaller than on 12x12 sheets which gives more delicacy.

I made something very light for the cover, just a little shaker window in which I put glitter, sequins and one of my favorite wood veneer words. Love the colors of this line, it's so soft and full of light!

The inside pages are a little more detailed. I layered several papers using one color on each page.

I prefer the wood veneer accents to be left natural, but I brought a little sparkle to this word by covering it in glitter.

Hi everybody! It's Stephanie Dagan, and I'm very happy to be with you for a new challenge!

If you're like me and if you love to introduce new materials in your pages, then this challenge should please you. The challenge in one word: sequins.

I discovered them with the kit Sorbonne  in April and I loved added that little touch of sparkle on my page.

So I have prepared another page for you with different uses of sequins : some are glued directly on the page, others are stuck behind a vellum like confetti and other in a shaker window.

Just let play your inspiration and give sparkle to your project with some sequins! I'm sure you will love it !

Stephanie's Tutorial

Hi everyone, Stephanie Dagan with you to share a technique that I used a lot in my layout : scrap little pieces of paper and work on color blocking. It is a good way to mix different papers and patterns while having a fairly clean design

First, I choose papers by staying on two colors, in my example I choose blue and green. This will be my main colors. I will add later two other colors in small quantities.

Then I print my photos and my journaling. As I chose to make a page of 8 by 8, my photos are about 2.1 to 2.7 inches by 1.7 and 2.1 inches, very small.

I begin to position papers, photo and journaling together as if it were a patchwork. Once the layout is like I want, I glue each piece together with tape on the back. I often starts the top of my page with a bunch of pieces of paper.

Here is the basis of my page. Now I just have to add some embellishments and touches of color to give more punch to the layout.

And this is the final result.

All the papers come from the January main kit and add-on. The little pink card "E" is cut with the Cameo, the back of which I glued a piece of embossed paper.

Another example of color blocking is my 30*30 page. The technique is the same with more photo. I find this very funny to do and very interesting to illustrate a scene of life.

I made this page in 8 by 8 and I love totally this size ! it's really fast and the result may surprise you.  It doesn't mean few embellishments and few papers, you can put as much as you want, everything will be a matter of size. Or you can just work on a little detail. The choice is yours!
