Another fabulous Sunday, another fabulous sketch!
Today's sketch is based on Stephanie Dagan's card from her 35mm gallery.
Our sketchee this week is Katie Sellers-Gordon. Here's her take on Stephanie Dagan's sketch.
Supplies: I used mostly papers from the Crate Paper Story Teller collection along with the Narrative Add-on, (especially the alpha stamp set) from Story Hour. I also used the Please Note & Hey Y'all Stamp Sets, Plano Stamp, Circle Graph Mask, & Taxi Mister Huey, along with my Silhouette SD, Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher, & various Momento Inks
"As I was looking at Stephanie's card, I saw so many inspirational pieces. For me the strips of paper immediately turned into a banner. I love how each of Stephanie's strips were all unique, in size & pattern, so I tried to incorporate that same concept into my layout. I also added a few strips to the top left of my layout to balance the weight of the page. I also love how she used a circle for her sentiment, & while I wasn't able to fit my title inside a circle, I did draw from that making the T for TOMS a little detail that helps focus on the point of the story. "
Thank you Katie! I love how you turned a card sketch into a cool layout! You can see more of her work on her blog. She aslo has a Youtube video on how she created her layout. It's pretty cool to see her start to finish process on the sketch.
Now it's your turn to give this week's sketch a try! Post your layout or card here by June 4th for your chance to win a $5 gift card to use in the Studio Calico shop.
This is completely FABULOUS!!! Love your work Katie!!!!

Awesome sketch :), I kept it a little more upright. Though I should try to break out and do a more angled one too.
