Sunday Sketch

Hey guys! It's that time again! Today our sketch comes from the April guest designer, Belinda Venables's City of Lights gallery.

 This week's sketch contriubter is Adrienne Alvis aka @drienne. Here's her take on the sketch.

I was really inspired by Belinda's use of colors and layering.  Her work is AMAZING!  For my layout, I changed the format to 12x12 to house my bigger picture.  I used SC's April kit, City of Lights + Add-On's.  I misted the doily mask on my background paper with Mister Huey's Bonnie Blue and trimmed one of the inserts from K&Company's Smash Book divider pack to frame out my photo.  I used Versamark ink and some embossing powder for the "Love You More" stamp and used that for my title.  I placed it in the center of the doily, rather than using it as a journaling spot like Belinda did.  I layered random sized strips of patterned paper under my photo and stamped the "paperdoll" stamp with some StazOn ink onto the vellum strip.  I added a few touches of bling, some Dear Lizzy wooden buttons, and some stitching to complete my layout. I had a blast with this sketch and I am truly honored that Studio Calico chose me! Thank you!
