weekly challenge

Hey guys! My weekly challenge to you this week is a book report of sorts. We all purchase and collect books that inspire us in some way whether it's a craft book with lots of projects or maybe a cook book's beautiful photography. I want you to use whatever inspired you to buy that book and create a layout, card or project.

A friend gifted me this particular book which I adore. I thumbed through it at the bookstore but never purchased it. I was surprised to see it in the package she sent and have dog-eared several projects for the home. But there was one particular project that just read "future layout" to me.

I loved the collage done on these plates. My intention was to create a full sized layout but because I'm working on my project life at the moment, I made it work for me by creating a circle cut out and collaging a mixture of Studio Calico's new line of papers together. I used the circle as an accent to go on top of a 4x6 card collaged with some photos. I used the veneer letters to create a quick title.
