Hi there,
Dawn here with a Sunday Sketch for you! Today’s sketch is based on this adorable card by Susan Weinroth.
For my card, I started out by layering some patterned papers (Folio & Focal Point (front & back) from the Classic Calico collection) on the card front and then splattered on a bit of Mister Huey’s in Overdue.
Supplies - Stamps: Hooray, Doilies, Ink: dark chocolate, pure poppy by Papertrey Ink, Mist: Mister Huey’s in Overdue, die cut tag from Memoir collection, Vintage Notion dress pattern flower, butterfly Chipboard Shapes, limitless layers: 2 1/2" scalloped circle die by Papertrey Ink
Next, I die cut a scalloped circle from cream card stock and stamped the largest doily image from the Doilies stamp set and then piled on the embellies! I used a die cut tag from the Memoir collection, as well as a Vintage Notion dress pattern flower and several butterfly Chipboard Shapes. The “Hello” sentiment is from the Hooray stamp set.
We’d love to see your take on today’s Sunday Sketch! If you’d like to play along, just post your link here by Monday, September 26!
Thanks so much and have FUN!
Dawn
I have to be honest; the card is cute but the red mist looks like you bled on it. Maybe if it was less blotchy and on a bigger portion of the card it wouldn't look that way.

Wow! Beautiful card! Great try at misting, too. It can be a little tricky at first (and every time), huh? :) Thanks for the awesome sketch!

Love it! And LOL @ comment about bleeding on the card. I think it adds a little something either way. ; )
