Hi everyone! It's Geralyn and I'm excited to host my first challenge here at the SC blog. My challenge for you this week is to scrap some polaroid photos. There are lots of ways to do this...maybe you have a stack of Fuji Instax photos that are waiting to be scrapped. How about using a polaroid stamp? You can also create some faux polaroids by matting your photos onto white cardstock.
Here's the layout I came up with for this challenge. I love these photos of my sweet newborn nephew. I made some faux polaroids by cropping the photos into squares in Photoshop and leaving a white edge around the photos when I trimmed them.
Supplies: vanilla cardstock, Countryside die-cut blue Topographical, Grove paper, County Line paper, Harvest paper, Guess Your Weight paper, Barn Swallow paper, Type fabrips, Yellow fabrips, 6x6" Labels - orange, Countryside tags, Addy alpha - green, wood veneer heart, Uni-ball Signo white pen
I hope you have fun with the challenge! Remember to post your layout and link it up to this blog post by Monday, September 26 for a chance to win a SC gift card. I can't wait to see what you make.
geralyn, this is STUNNING!
I haven't even read what the challenge is yet as I'm so distracted by the pretty :)

Fun challenge! I dusted of my Polaroid and took some pics of our apartment. The film is super duper expired, but still has a cool effect :) Here's the finished layout: http://www.studiocalico.com/forums/galleries/show/48087

Awesome challenge! Just so happens I recently made two layouts with Instax photos. Here's one for the challenge: http://www.studiocalico.com/forums/galleries/show/48152 . Love your layout btw, Geralyn! Great use of SC classics. :)

Here's my take on the polroid pics. I used Photoshop to create my own polaroids out of old pics that I scanned to make this layout.
