One of my favorite ways to use Studio Calico stamps is to create a background for my pages, and turn cardstock into patterned paper!
To create this page, I taped off the four edges of the gray paper (from May's Kit - Lawn Party), and then stamped the typed image (also from Lawn Party) on to the page with gray ink. I cut out the heart using patterned paper and then sewed around the edges of the stamping. I'm including a picture of this layout in my album so you can see how it all works together!
This is one of my favorite ways to use stamps, what is your favorite way to use stamps? Show me how and you could win a great National Scrapbook Day prize package! Link your page in the comments of this post by Friday May 13th for a chance to win a My Mind's Eye Lush 2 prize package!

Whether you are experienced with traveling or you are a new traveler, there are many decisions that must be made. Luckily, travel planning is simple if you know how to approach it and have the right information. If you are planning on traveling soon, or simply have an interest in travel, this article provides excellent tips and information.
Be sure your passports are current and not expiring soon. Passport rules can vary among different countries. Depending on the expiration date of your passport, a country may not let you visit. This can be from 3-6 months of your trip, though there are some places where that time frame can be 8-12 months.
Always write down everything you need to pack in the form of a list. Create this list either a few months to a week before your trip. Even last minute packing won't be as stressful, when you have a list to reference. It will also take the panic out of forgetting anything.
One thing you can do on an international trip to make things easier is get your money exchanged before you depart. Many times, currency exchanges have restrictive hours, and you might not be able to get local currency when you arrive. Almost all large banks sell foreign currency, so before going to the airport, make a quick run to the bank.
Michael Kors Sale Make sure you get the latest e-newsletters of the airlines you use. You will be notified of discounts, special deals and last-minute offers. Yes, they will fill your inbox more, but the rewards and savings can be worth it.
If you are bringing a pet, you need to find a hotel that will allow that and see what type of fees they charge. You should call different hotels and find out more about accommodations for your pets.
Make sure you know what the weather will be when you are planning out your vacation. Long range forecasts have become quite accurate and you can check for just about any travel destination on the globe. A freezing snow or unexpected hurricane is the last thing you want when jumping on a plane to Florida. Be prepared, and you will never be surprised.
Be cautious about emails that cover travel deals. Be sure not to open travel related emails, unless you know which company they are coming from.
If you are planning to fly with gifts, be sure that you do not wrap them before flight. If the TSA is suspicious about something, they will be forced to open your presents. Rather than doing this, you should pack some wrapping paper sheets, or simply purchase some paper when you arrive at your destination.
If you are a visitor to foreign cities, keep your eyes open for thieves that might be dressed as law enforcement or government personnel. Don't give anyone your original passport; you will probably never see it again. If they want you to come with them to a police station, make sure that you walk there. Do not get in a vehicle with a local who you don't know.
There are some overwhelming decisions to be made when planning to travel. If you have some ideas of what you need to do, you can plan a trip easily. If you follow these suggestions, you will be able to easily make travel plans.
