One of my favorite ways to use Studio Calico stamps is to create a background for my pages, and turn cardstock into patterned paper!
To create this page, I taped off the four edges of the gray paper (from May's Kit - Lawn Party), and then stamped the typed image (also from Lawn Party) on to the page with gray ink. I cut out the heart using patterned paper and then sewed around the edges of the stamping. I'm including a picture of this layout in my album so you can see how it all works together!
This is one of my favorite ways to use stamps, what is your favorite way to use stamps? Show me how and you could win a great National Scrapbook Day prize package! Link your page in the comments of this post by Friday May 13th for a chance to win a My Mind's Eye Lush 2 prize package!
I don't do alot of stamping, though I am starting to branch out. On this I just stamped my title.

Usually the most I ever stamp on a page is the date. But today, I stole Tina's stamp with paint and a paper roll idea and that was fun! I also did a tone-on-tone woodgrain stamp over the turquoise cardstock and I like the way that turned out. Maybe stamping's not so hard....

One of my favorite ways to use stamps is for my title (all or part) or in my journaling. But I often don't plan enough in advance to make it work. This time I did!

Used a background stamp on the filter circles with JB chewing gum ink and it created an almost sheer print effect that I love! I love altering things with stamps! http://www.studiocalico.com/forums/galleries/show/42411
