Hi guys, lets kick off the weekend with a product spotlight of our gorgeous wood veneers! I love the new button ones and decided to jazz them up a bit with a little glitter, stickles glue to be exact!
Supplies:Adhesive: American Crafts This to That Strip; Alphas: Documentary, Homefront;Mist: Mister Huey's Warm Calico;Pattern Paper: Singing In the Rain kit; Pen: American Crafts Pro Precision; Stickers: Crate Paper Label Stickers
I love how versatile the veneers are, you can customize them to any color to match any project. I inked them all in various fluid chalk colors before adding a layer of stickles glitter glue. You can also use glitter embossing powder for this effect and inking could be skipped ( but I like the gradient of colors)! Application is super easy, I just moved the tip of the bottle over the veneer surface to spread it out. However you can apply a small amount to the veneer and spread the glitter with your finger too. Once the glitter glue was dry I adhered it to my project!
I hope this tip and layout gives you inspiration on how to make your veneer shapes dazzle!
Love this Vee! Those buttons are adorable!
