Today, I'm going to show you how to make a quick and easy mini calendar that you take with you wherever you go, put in your purse or give it to someone you love as a present.
First of all, I downloaded a calendar PNG files over Paislee Press boutique, then add my photos in Photoshop and print them onto white cardstock. You don't have to use digital files for this project : if you have your Studio Calico Monthly stamps, that will be perfect.
Once you have cut your cards, grab your favorite Studio Calico stickers and other items you like, but you seriously want to make some ink splashs on your calendar for a colorful feel using Mister Huey inks. To make perfect ink marks, simply get rid of the cap and shake the straw over your card : you never know what it's gonna look like, nor where it's gonna end on the paper, but that's what's fun!
I used 5 different Mister Huey's inks : Lunchtray, Sunshine, Schoolhouse, Applejack and Atmosphere. I also used different Studio Calico stickers sheets, like Anthology, Elementary and Documentary.
Once you're happy with your designs, simply use your Crop-a-dile to make holes and add rings. Voilà!
Very cool! Love how you embellished this!
