Hi everyone, Vee here to share a quick and easy layout using elements from one of my favorite papers from our Documentary line, f/stop.
One of my most favorite tools in my crafting supplies is my craft knife! I know some don't like this tool very much, but believe me practice makes perfect along with a sharp blade. Another quick tip is to move the blade with the paper and never against it. I love how you can cut up pattern paper into more smaller usable pieces that you may not use otherwise.
Don't be afraid to use the outer images that are not full images, layer them so they appear to pop above another elements or photos of similar sizes. I added some leftover pieces of Metropolitan to tie the rest of the layout together.
When you are done with this paper, you will have the perfect masking tool as well!
Supplies: Patterned Paper - Camera Shy, f/stop; Stickers - Elementary Alphabet; Mists - Mister Huey's Warm Calico; Wood Veneer - Frames; Rub-ons -Cameras; Kit - Metropolitan Kit; Adhesive - Foam Tab Circles
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will give your craft knife a second chance!
xo
can you explain what you mean by "move the blade with the paper and never against it"? Thanks!
