Hello, everyone! It's Lisa here today, and I've got an extra dose of inspiration to start your weekend. As you know, out friends at Crate Paper designed 2 double sided sheets of patterned paper and a set of label stickers to coordinate with Candy Shoppe. We sent the kit to four of their design team members - you will love what they've made for us!
Our first projects are by Mou Saha. Her first page, love you, reminds me of a funky quilt - it's so bright and colorful and cozy! Over the Rainbow has so many perfect details that I don't even know where to start - I love how she grouped the cloud stamps with the Crate label stickers, and the journaling on the rainbow? Brilliant.

Mou's thoughts on Candy Shoppe : I am LOVING this kit... just like any other Studio Calico kit I have ever had. Having the exclusive Crate Paper double-sided patterned papers and sticker sheet definitely sweetened the deal. Grab it while you can!

Mou Saha is a Contributing Writer for Creating Keepsakes magazine. You have seen her work in Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbooks, Etc., Memory Makers, Somerset Memories, Somerset Apprentice, Simple Scrapbooks, Scrapbook Trends, Cardmaker and various international publications. Mou currently lives in Tampa, Florida with her family and puts her beautiful mixed media style to work with 7 Gypsies, Anna Griffin, Crate Paper, Faber-Castell DMC, Glitz Design and Scotch 3M.
Next we have two projects by Jaime Warren. I love how she manages to balance some large elements (those gorgeous butterflies) without losing the focus on her gorgeous photos! Her photo strips on funny girls are too cool - I think I'll have to try that soon. I like that she went out of the box with the rainbow paper - using it as more of a stripe than a rainbow on her pages.

Jaime's thoughts on Candy Shoppe : Crate and Studio Calico teaming up to create one of a kind papers & stickers? Genius (and, of course, gorgeous!) This was such a fun kit to work with - the bright and bold colors, the awesome Crate stickers and the classic Studio Calico stamps were the perfect combination!

Jaime Warren's bio : I have always had a love for photography and creating. Being able to combine the two has been a dream come true! My love for photography started at a young age and became a passion of mine as a teenager. I was introduced to scrapbooking by a friend and from that moment I was hooked. Scrapbooking is, for me, a creative outlet. I am able to share my love for my children, husband and photography through my pages. I have been fortunate enough to have been a Memory Makers Master as well as design for several different manufacturers over the years - something I never could have dreamed was possible for me!
These beautiful layouts are by Lucy Edson - yet another Crate designer who isn't afraid to go bright and bold! Twinkle Toes is so girly and sweet, and I adore the impact the rainbow pattern paper has on her Umbrella page. She's grouped the Crate label stickers with the buttons and gems from Candy Shoppe on both pages - I love little details like that.

Lucy's thoughts on Candy Shoppe : I'm a color addict and the gorgeous February kit satisfied my craving for color - so lush and rich with a great combinations of patterns and that adorable cloud stamp! That will be one I'll keep in my stash for sure! My layouts went together so easily with this kit. Thanks again, April and Studio Calico for allowing me to share with you this month!

Lucy Edson's bio : Hi, I'm Lucy Edson a scrapbooker and mixed media artist. I'm delighted to be guesting here this month, thank you so much for inviting me. I'm enjoying the sunny days in Florida with my sweet husband of 15 years and our 5 year old daughter. We love hanging out at the beach and rivers for some relaxing family time. I love color and started scrapbooking about 4 years ago when my photos started piling up. It's become a wonderful hobby/obsession for me. :) I've been very fortunate to design with some fabulous companies like Crate Paper, Webster's Pages and DecoArt and I'm a frequent guest artist for Somerset publications with tutorials and articles.
Our last project is brought to us by
Christine Middlecamp. It shows the softer side of
Candy shoppe - she pulled a pink, gray and white color scheme from the kit. I love how she created an off center mat with white cardstock, and then grouped her accents and photos in the middle.
Christine's thoughts on
Candy Shoppe : What excited me most about the kit was that it paid homage to color! I'm especially fond of color and anytime I have the opportunity to work with it, I'm highly motivated to create. To add to this, the exclusive product from Crate Paper is a total treat! My fave are the stickers..can never have too many label stickers as far as I'm concerned.

Christine lives in South Saint Paul, Minnesota with her young son Ethan. She's been scrapbooking for over four years and has played multiple roles in the scrapbook industry as a designer, teacher, project kit connoisseur and most currently, design team coordinator for Crate Paper. She hosts a well-established blog, "Retrospection", where she shares her latest work and routinely writes small tutorials for ongoing projects. Christine's work is very detail oriented and heavily layered. She's an obvious a passion for pattern, texture and color. Her layouts routinely display small central areas of handmade embellishments and mini collages. Behind all the layers is usually a story that's expressive of everyday life, which seems to be far from ordinary these days! Beyond scrapbooking, Christine is a full time business student & social media enthusiast. She's a regular contributor to the Crate Paper blog!
Please join me in sending a big THANK YOU to Mou,
Jaime, Lucy &
Christine - we are thrilled that they were able to work with
Candy Shoppe this month. Thank you for the inspiration, ladies!
