This week's sketch is based off of Lisa's layout Tracking Santa...
I am always inspired by the texture in Lisa's work. When I first saw this layout, I knew immediately what I could do with trees at the bottom. But when I saw the sketch, I was inspired by the use of multiple basic shapes.
For my layout, I decided to go with repetition in the form of scallops and circles. Lisa used scallops a couple of times in her layout.
Supplies: Metropolitan Kit; Canvas - Claudine Hellmuth Sticky backed canvas; Punches - Fiskars circle, EK Success scallop
For texture, I used adhesive backed canvas, and machine stitching (of course). Include your link to this thread by Saturday for a chance to win one of two $5 Studio Calico gift cards. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
Love the sketch and both layouts! :)
