Hi SC family, Vee here to share with you some fun ways to
use our new wood veneers! I am a self proclaimed veneer junkie,
love all things veneer, seriously. It is such a fun versatile
embellishment that looks great inked, misted, stamped, painted or
distressed.
Supplies: Documentary Journaling Card; Ink - Mister Huey's Calico White; Documentary Jet
Set; Documentary Alpha Stickers; Rub-on - Patterns; Wood Veneer - Stars, Frames, Alphabet
I added dimension to the star wood veneers on this layout by
adding rubons and ink. I love the way the ink makes the wood
veneer stand out against the page. These veneers are easy to cut
as well, the strips are veneer is actually the large wood veneer
frame! I love stretching products and adding lines to projects.
It was super easy to cut using my craft scissors and cutting the
frame at each corner!
I LOVE this!!! Thanks for the heads up- I love wood veneers too.

Vee - How did you get that awesome effect with the stamp and white ink? I love how it is stamped in random patches... just wondering how you applied the ink to the stamp in order to do that because I just can't get it right!

hi Marisa, I ink the stamp in random places, usually around the edge of the stamp! :)
