This week, we asked SC member Sarah Webb to share her take on her sketch - here's what she made :
(supplies : kit - Brooklyn Flea ; other : Queen & Co Goosebumps)
I love a good sketch. I like that this design lent well to my love of paper I put my leftover bits of Brooklyn Flea to work and my page came together really quickly. My preferred page size is 12x12 so I grew the design a little and I modified a few details to suit my style. I trimmed the top and bottom strips of paper and chose not to include a couple of the flags. I couldn't resist fussy cutting a few bees out of the Echo Park patterned paper. I didn't get to see the original creation, just the sketch created from it, so I am really looking forward to seeing the starting page!
The hexagon paper and little bees are the perfect accent for this adorable Halloween photo, aren't they? If you want to see more of Sarah's work, stop by her gallery here at Studio Calico or visit her blog.
Now it's YOUR turn to show us how you'll use the sketch. Whether it's a layout (two pages or one!), a card or something else, link us up to your project by July 9th for a chance to win a $5 gift card to the Studio Calico shop.
