This week's sketch comes from Davinie Fiero's gallery for our June Kit, SO CAL - it's based on her page titled 6.
This week, Corinne Smilovici stepped up to the challenge of using this 2 page sketch - check out her awesome page!
(supplies : kit : SO CAL ; ink : Hero Arts Wet Cement)
I'm very flattered and grateful for the opportunity you're giving me of showing my sketch!
This sketch was made only with the main kit. I'm liking pastels lately, so this was exactly was I was in the mood for. It's been a while since I last made a double layout, so it was a challenged that I welcomed happily. I used the modeling paste technique I learned from Celine Navarro in her 'get messy' class which I later misted with Mister Hueys. I did the 'hey girl' stamp with the new colors from Hero Arts, wet cement. I used recent pictures with my sister doing some shopping and just having a nice relaxing time together. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed doing it!
I love all of the texture Corinne brought to this page, and that stamped border? Love it. If you want to see more or Corinne's work, you can check out her gallery here at Studio Calico or stop by her blog.
Now it's YOUR turn to show us how you'll use the sketch. Whether it's a layout (two pages or one!), a card or something else, link us up to your project by June 25th for a chance to win a $5 gift card to the Studio Calico shop.

Fun sketch and a wonderful engaging layout!

I only used the sketch for the 2nd page. I want to add another page but I need to come up with a complimentary design that will hold a good number of photos. http://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/63801-post-whack-watermelon
