We have two awesome Reveal Night prizes to give away today! The first is from one of my favorite Etsy shops, Basil the Cat. She is giving away an initial necklace in silver or gold with the letter of your choice:
She's also offering a 15% discount to our customers. Enter code SCREVEAL at checkout. Expires 2/11/2012.
Our February Guest Designer, Julie Balzer is also giving away a spot in one of her online classes of your choice. Here are the details from Julie:
Stamp Carving 101 is my newest online class. It begins on January 16, 2012 and runs for five weeks.
This class is all about carving your own rubber stamps! We’ll be making all of the stamps you see in the photo, plus many more – including a self-portrait stamp made from a photo! Absolutely no experience necessary! You’ll see how quick and easy it is to make your own stamps and then you’ll never look back!
These are online classes I previously taught and are currently available as self-paced classes (don’t worry – I still check the classroom, message board, and gallery in each class):
30 Days in Your Journal
This class is all about the practice of daily diary-style art journaling. Each lesson takes about ten minutes. You’ll be amazed by how much you can accomplish in a very short period of time. If you’ve ever wanted to pick up the art journaling habit (and a ton of techniques), then this is the class for you!
It’s Sew Easy
This is a mixed media sewing class. If you are interested in learning how to use a sewing machine and a paintbrush to create fabulous paper and fabric projects, then this is the class for you! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned veteran, there are sure to be projects and techniques that will excite and inspire you!
Technique-a-Palooza: Paint & Ink
I will take you on a journey through THIRTY fabulous papercrafting techniques using paint and ink. You'll learn how to use watercolor, acrylic, gesso, water soluble crayons, ink pads, and mists! Each lesson is short and focused on technique, so you’ll walk away
with an arsenal of great new techniques!
You can find more information about each class and read student testimonials here.
Leave a comment here and we'll draw the winners after the weekend. Good luck!
