Good Wednesday morning! It's Kelly here with an up close and personal peek at our June Guest Designer, Candice Stringham. By now I hope you've checked out her cool projects using Paper Moon in the DT Gallery and know just how creative she is!
When did you start scrapbooking? I started scrapbooking before scrapbooking really exsisted in 1995. I was a junior in high school and I made an album with cardstock and really ugly stickers about going to nationals for show choir...yes, I was that awesome/geeky in highschool. Then I took a break for a while and really started scraping again after my first son was born in 2001.
Where do you find your inspiration? All over the place but right now I'm loving pinterest. I'm obsessed.
What's your favorite thing about this hobby? Scrapbooking has given me so many opportunities to meet new people and travel through teaching that I would never have had otherwise.
What do you like to focus on when you scrapbook (photos, design, journaling, etc)? Hands down it's the photography!
Besides scrapbooking, what other things do you like to do in your spare time? Mostly photography, thinking about photography, teaching photography, talking about photography...notice a pattern here? I'm kidding...sort of. I also love to read, watch romantic movies and old musicals and see lots of theater.
Five fun facts about you...
I'm pregnant with my third boy!
I grew up all over the place and I used to tell people my parents were gypsies, the longest place I lived was in Hawaii.
While living in Hawaii I was an extra in a Chinese Jackie Chan movie.
I love London and I hope to get to live there again one day.
I collect vintage cameras.
