wonderful page! ... i dont have any old books to use, but i do have some text papers that would do the trick :)

Debbie

i was just thinking about you today Celine. lovely page. =)

Jennifer Larson

Old book pages = text paper? If so, I'm in!

Ally

Shelly, good idea about using text papers as a substitute! All I have are my old Bobsey Twins books from when I was a kid and I was thinking, do I dare? I wouldn't have, but I can't believe the thought actually crossed my mind! LOL

Ok - text papers I can do!

Adèle

Ta page est magnifique Céline!

Since I am in the middle of a Mr. Huey obsessive state right now, this will be perfect.

I used an old book of my husband's. Would not want to use my own! Thanks Celine, here's mine:

Ok - here's mine! Loved that I had some misted text paper leftover from another project!

I obsessed a long time over different book pages - I didn't want just "random" words in case someone actually read it (it's a birthday card). So I tore a page out of an old piano book - no words, only music! I used Mr. Huey dark calico:

I don't have any old book pages, so I used the diecut text paper from October's On the Easel kit with some lemon mist :)

Did it! ... so happy to have misted. I have collected quite a few, but never seem to know how to use them. Thanks for the push!

Here is my layout called Hat Happy. I used pages from an old Sears catalog that I picked up at an antique store during spring break. Appropriately I used the catalog pages selling hats. I colored each square with a different color of mist to represent the different colors in my daughter's hat. Thanks for the challenge Celine.

Here is my take, I couldn't tear up any of my books, but used the text page from the kit this month. Hope that is okay - http://www.studiocalico.com/forums/galleries/show/32315
